Crash involving a Merrill, WI ambulance (Merrill FD)
MERRILL, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – One person is hospitalized after a car crashed into an ambulance in Merrill.
The Merrill Fire Department says the ambulance was on a call when the crash happened. A crew member was injured.
A statement from the fire department says, “Today Med-61 was struck by another vehicle while on a call with the ambulance crew inside. One crew member was taken by private auto to Wausau Hospital for evaluation. The other two members did not have any injuries and no patient was injured nor the driver of the other car.”
The ambulance suffered minor damage.
No names have been released. The crash is under investigation
