IOLA, WI (WSAU) — F+W Media is set to lay off 41 workers at their office in Iola. Jobs in various departments are being outsourced.
The jobs will be reduced in stages between now and February 26th according to a news release from the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development.
Some of the jobs F+W Media will be outsourcing are in departments such as production, digital imaging, ad services, and ad design. Some of the jobs will reportedly be taken up by outsourcer RR Donnelley, a Wisconsin company.
The Department of Workforce Development and Fox Valley Workforce Development Area Rapid Response Team will be brought in to assist those displaced workers in finding a new job.
