MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Bucks fell to Dallas 118-112 on Sunday despite another double-double from Giannis Antetokounmpo and a 20 point performance from Jrue Holiday.
The Greek Freak finished with 28 points, ten rebounds, two steals, and two assists in the game. Holiday added 20 points, nine assists, two rebounds, and a block.
Bobby Portis scored 17 off the bench, Pat Connaughton added 12.
The Mavericks outshot Milwaukee in nearly every category, finishing 51% from the field, 42% from three-point range, and 89% from the free-throw line. Milwaukee was 44%, 38%, and 72% in those categories, respectively.
With the loss, Milwaukee dropped to the #3 seed in the East at 48-30 though seedings in the East remain far from settled as the top four are separated by just 2.5 games with a week to go in the regular season.
The Bucks have four games remaining on the schedule beginning Tuesday at Chicago. Their final home date of the season is Thursday against Boston. Friday and Sunday bring road games against Detroit and Cleveland.
The ten playoff teams have been decided in the East with Brooklyn and Charlotte guaranteed spots in the play-in tournament. The remaining eight spots remain unsettled.
