While I was on vacation on a sunny beach in Florida last week, a video surfaced from the Wisconsin Dems of Wausau Mayor Katie Rosenberg twerking, yes TWERKING in front of the illegal ballot drop box outside Wausau City Hall.
My first reaction: I wish I could unsee it. It’s disgraceful. This is the “leader” of the city of Wausau. My personal trainer would say: “Really poor form.”
Mayor Katie, c’mon now. What were you thinking?
For those who are unfamiliar with the term ‘twerking’ – from the Oxford Dictionary:
These are not the actions of a serious and professional person. This is someone who is best suited for teaching yoga or balloon art at the YMCA or scooping ice cream downtown. She is horribly unqualified (and unfit) to be the Chief Executive of the City of Wausau.
Amateur Mayor seems too complimentary. Not to mention that the Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled that Absentee Ballot Drop Boxes are illegal in the state of Wisconsin. So to be photographed let alone TikToked promoting illegal voting seems like political suicide. Or is it her intent to perpetuate illegal voting here in Wisconsin? (Cameo appearances by Marathon County Board Supervisor/Wausau School Board member Ka Lo and failed boudoir model/candidate for Wausau School Board Kayley McColley. And what’s with the little girl? Highly inappropriate.)
An embarrassment to Wausau, an insult to the taxpaying citizens of our city, it’s time to recruit Katie’s replacement NOW.
