TOWN OF EASTON, WI (WSAU) — A school bus carrying a handful of students was involved in a collision in rural Marathon County on Monday afternoon.
WAOW TV reports the bus was struck on County Road Z as it was traveling eastbound near the Highway Q intersection by a pickup that was headed west.
The bus then went into the ditch and tilted on its side, but did not rollover.
Three students from St. John’s Lutheran School were on board at the time. They are said to be OK and have been taken home by other means and their parents have been notified.
One person has been taken from the scene with concussion-like symptoms. Officials wouldn’t confirm if that was the bus driver or the driver of the pickup.
