MILWAUKEE, Wi (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers knocked off the Pittsburgh Pirates 5-2 on Tuesday night at American Family Field. It was Milwaukee’s 3rd win in a row.
Corbin Burnes pitched seven innings giving up two runs on four hits with 10 Ks and no walks. Josh Hader picked up his fifth save.
Rowdy Tellez had a two run homer in the 2nd inning and Hunter Renfroe added a solo shot in the 7th. Kolten Wong drive in two for the Brewers as well.
Milwaukee, now 7-5, will host the Pirates again today. Pre-game show at 12:05 on WSAU.
