PLOVER, WI (WSAU) — A pedestrian accident in the Village of Plover turned deadly over the weekend.
According to Plover Police Chief Daniel Ault a 72-year-old woman was struck by a man driving a Nissan Titan while she was walking in the Copps parking lot.
The woman, identified as Rose Ann Krueger of Plover, was rushed to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. She later died as a result of those injuries.
Police say the driver of the Titan, a 50-year-old Stevens Point man, has been cooperative and the investigation revealed that the incident was an accident.
No charges have been filed in the incident.
