ATLANTA, GA (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers started their ten game road trip with a 6-3 win over the Atlanta Braves on Friday night.
Rowdy Tellez broke a 2-2 tie with a two run single in the 6th inning. The other RBIs went to Willy Adames, Christian Yelich and Lorenzo Cain.
Eric Lauer went 6 1/3 innings giving up one earned run on 2 hits with 8 Ks and three walks. Josh Hader pitched the 9th for his 11th save.
The Brewers have won four straight and nine of their last ten and remain in first place in the Central Division. They play Atlanta again tonight…pre game show at 5:45 on WSAU.
Milwaukee also made a roster move on Friday bringing up pitcher Luis Perdomo and sending Keston Huira to AAA Nashville.
