UPDATED: 6:30 PM- Alonna Leigh Jagodinski was found safe. Officers wish to thank the residents who provided tips, including those who checked trail cams and video systems for signs of her. No further information was released.
TOWN OF WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — Marathon County Sheriff’s Officials are encouraging the public to be on the lookout for Alonna Leigh Jagodinski.
According to a Facebook post from the department, the 32-year-old hasn’t been seen or heard from since Saturday evening when she left her parent’s home on Shenandoah Ridge Road in the Town of Wausau.
Officers say she left without her purse and cell phone. She was last seen wearing a maroon puffy jacket, gold top, and light brown suede boots. Her family adds that she may be suffering from a mental illness and in need of emergency care.
A drone search of the area near her parents’ home has been conducted and turned up no leads. Residents in the Town of Wausau are encouraged to check their property including outbuildings, vehicles, game cameras, video doorbells, and surveillance systems for any sign of Jagodinski.
Foul play is not suspected at this time.
If you have information on her whereabouts or believe you have found evidence of where she may be you’re asked to contact the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office at 715-261-1200. Officers add that they are not planning any widespread search efforts at this time, but if they do information on how to volunteer will be posted on Facebook.
