STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — Police in Stevens Point discovered the body of a deceased elderly female along the Wisconsin River by the Clark Street bridge Thursday morning.
Officials say the body was discovered in the water just after 10 AM as they were conducting a search by land.
No further information will be released at this time.
Police had been searching the area for a 76-year-old female since March 22nd. It’s unclear if her body is the one that was recovered.
