Never Forgotten Honor Flight
MOSINEE, WI (WSAU) — The second Never Forgotten Honor Flight of 2022 takes off early Monday from the Central Wisconsin Airport in Mosinee.
Veterans from Korea and Vietnam will take the one-day, round-trip tour to Washington, DC to see the memorials built in their honor.
A total of 108 Vets are scheduled for this flight, all but seven served in Vietnam.
Those who want to welcome the Veterans home are encouraged to gather in the terminal at CWA beginning at 8 this evening. The flight is scheduled to land at about 10 PM.
The first Honor Flight of 2022 took off on May 2nd. There will be two others in September and October.
