MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WSAU-TSN) — The San Francisco Giants defeated the Milwaukee Brewers Monday 8-4 at Miller Park.
The Brewers got on the board first with a Khris Davis solo home run in the first inning, but not without some controversy. Davis was ruled out at home plate for not touching the bag, but a review reversed the call showing his heel touched home plate. Davis had another solo home run in the third. Davis crossed home plate again when Ryan Braun hit a two run homer in the 5th.
The Giants’ first score came from a former Brewer. Norichika Aoki had a one-out, solo home run in the top of the third. The Giants blew the game open with 7 runs in the 6th inning and never looked back from there.
The two teams play again Tuesday. Listen to the game on WSAU 550 AM and 99.9 FM starting with pregame activities at 6:35 p.m.
