WESTON, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – The 11th Annual Meatfest is underway this year in the parking lot of Dale’s Weston Lanes.
There’s plenty of barbeque available, including special sauces made by owner of KimBob’s Cafe, Kim Lemke.
Lemke started Meatfest 11 years ago when he and a friend thought of starting a food truck in residential driveways. “We took backyard barbeque to the next level,” said Lemke.
He’s gone through multiple hurdles to keep this annual event continuing, but through the support he’s gotten, he feels great how this event came to fruition.
“The response of my customers, friends, and family, it’s been incredible,” said Lemke.
Meatfest 2022 started Thursday and continues through Saturday.
