UNDATED (WSAU-Wheeler News) Good job, Badgers. Now. Do it again.
Wisconsin wins an NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament semifinal game against undefeated Kentucky, but it may turn into a forgotten footnote in history if they don’t do the same to another legendary college program at Duke. The Badgers’ 71-64 win over the Wildcats Saturday ended that team’s dreams of a perfect record and avenged a disappointing loss last year.
For the first time in 74 year, Wisconsin is in the championship game. All they have to do is beat a Blue Devil team which is playing its best basketball of the season – a Blue Devil team that beat the Badgers by 10 points last December. Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan says his players have to forget about the one they just played and get down to business.
Tipoff in Indianapolis is 8:18 pm Central Daylight time.
The Badgers are an early one-point favorite by the odds makers.
