The Badgers are 18-and-2 overall, with a three-game winning streak after victories last week against Iowa and Michigan. Bo Ryan’s Badgers not play again until Saturday at Iowa.
Wisconsin is also in eighth place in the R-P-I Rankings, which help determine seedings in the N-C-A-A Tournament in March. Green Bay is 67th in the men’s R-P-I’s, with a 17-and-4 overall mark. Marquette is in 100th place at 10-and-8.
Meanwhile, in the new A-P women’s basketball poll, Green Bay is three places away from the Top-25. The Phoenix have won six straight, with a 15-and-3 overall mark after winning at Detroit by 17 points last Saturday.
