MILWAUKEE, Wi (MetroSource-WSAU) Marquette slammed St. Francis 78-65 at the Bradley Center Monday night. The Golden Eagles only had seven players available due to injury and the departure of Traci Carter who has deci9ded to transfer. They needed a late offensive surge to hold off the Red Flash.
Andrew Rowsey made six three-pointers and had 22 points for the Golden Eagles.
Marquette hosts SIU-Edwardsville on Wednesday.
Meanwhile ,the Wisconsin Badgers remain 14th in this week’s “USA Today” Top-25 Coaches’ Poll. The Badgers moved to 10-and-2 with last Wednesday’s 73-59 win over Green Bay. UW hosts Florida A&M on Friday at the Kohl Center. ###
