SCHOFIELD, WI (WSAU) — The 2017 winner of the Win Brockmeyer Memorial Scholarship is DC Everest lineman Zach Mueller.
The award, named after the long-time Wausau High School football coach, is presented to the top senior football player from the four Wausau area high schools.
Mueller, an all-conference offensive lineman, has committed to play college football at Eastern Illinois.
The other finalists were Nathan Rodman from Wausau East, Mitch Michalske of Wausau West and Marshall Hackel of Wausau Newman. They receive scholarships as well.
The awards were presented this morning at a breakfast ceremony at the Wausau Country Club.
