MADISON, Wi (WSAU) The Wisconsin womens soccer team won their opening match in the NCAA Tournament with a 5-0 drubbing of Toledo in Madison.
The game was scorless at halftime before the Badgers exploded scoring all five goals in a 19 minute span.
Grace Douglas scored twice. Lauren Rice, Jordan McNeese & Allie Winterfield also found the back of the net. Caitlyn Clem recorded her 10th shutout of the season.
Wisconsin, now 14-5-2, will travel to South Carolina to face the #1 seeded Gamecocks next Friday.
