MILWAUKEE, Wi (WSAU) — The LA Dodgers beat the Milwaukee Brewers 2-1 on Wednesday night at American Family Field.
The Brewers managed only four hits and the only run came on a Christian Yelich RBI in the 8th inning. They did have two on in the 9th but Luis Urias grounded out to end the game.
Tony Gonsolin ran his record to 15-1 going seven innings with no runs on two hits with 8 Ks. Eric Lauer pitched well for Milwaukee, 7 innings with two runs on four hits and 7 Ks.
Milwaukee now three back of St. Louis after the Cardinals beat Colorado. The Brewers are two back in the wild card chase.
The two teams finish the four game series with a day game today…pre game show at 12:35 on WSAU.
