DALLAS, Tx(MetroSource) Playing without star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo the Milwaukee Bucks opened the preseason with a 106-104 loss to the Mavericks in Dallas.
Rashad Vaughn netted 20 points off the bench for Milwaukee. Khris Middleton scored 12 in defeat.
The Bucks will be without Antetokounmpo for a while. The “Greek Freak” has left the team indefinitely following the death of his father. When asked about it, head coach Jason Kidd says it’s going to be some time.
The Bucks’ first preseason home game is tomorrow against the Pacers. The Bucks open the regular season October 18th at Boston.
