MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers will need their cold weather gear as they head out of spring training in 2023.
Major League baseball released the schedule for next season on Thursday and for the first time it’s a balanced schedule in which every team will play every other team. Teams will play divisional opponents five fewer times under the new schedule.
The Brewers will open at Wrigley Field against the Cubs for three games starting March 30th. They then have the New York Mets and St. Louis Cardinals for the opening homestand.
In interleague play Milwaukee will still play home and home with the Minnesota Twins. They will host Boston, Detroit, the LA Angels, Kansas City, Houston, Baltimore and Oakland.
They will play on the road at Seattle, Tampa, Toronto, Cleveland, Chicago, Texas and the New York Yankees.
There are also a couple of ten game road trips including an early one April 10-19 at Arizona, San Diego and Seattle.
