GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) — The Green Bay Packers released linebacker Ty Summers on Sunday. Summers had been a key special teams player for the Packers since being drafted in 2019.
Matt LaFleur said they wanted to give Summers a chance to catch on with another team before the rash of cuts that will come as the NFL teams get down to a 53 man roster by Tuesday.
Green Bay has until 3pm Tuesday to get down to 53 players on the roster.
