MARYVALE, AZ (WSAU) The Milwaukee Brewers used the home run ball on Friday to top UW-MIlwaukee 11-0 in the spring training opener at Maryvale.
Lewis Brinson homered twice and drive in four runs. Scooter Gennett and Jesus Aguilar also went deep in the victory. An eight run fourth inning broke the game open.
Brinson, the Brewers to prospect, is expected to start the season at Triple A Colorado Springs.
The Brewers officially begin Cactus League play on Sunday vs the Angels at Tempe.
