GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) — The Green Bay Packers brought in a new player on Wednesday and also set their practice squad.
Safety and special teams player Rudy Ford was signed after being waived by Jacksonville. The 6th year player is expected to be a gunner on special teams. The Packers released Micah Abernathy to make room for Ford on the roster.
The team also set their practice squad for this season. It looks like this:
