GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) — The Green Bay Packers made some moves this week as they prepare to finish the season with two meaningless games. Aaron Jones and Kenny Clark will both finish the season on the injured rfeserve list.
Jones, who led the NFL in rushing average at 5.5 yards per carry, injured his knee in the Bears game on Sunday. He said he believes the injury is similar to one’s he’s had in the past.
Defensive tackle Kenny Clark will also finish the season on IR after injuring his elbow. It is not believed to be serious enough to warrant surgery.
Green Bay also signed WR Allen Lazard off the Jacksonville Jaguars practice squad and are working out a number of players this week including former high draft pick QB Paxton Lynch.
