IOWA CITY, IA (WSAU) — D’Mitrick Trice scored 20 points including a 3 pointer with 20 seconds left and Wisconsin held off 14th ranked Iowa 72-66 on Friday night.
Ethan Happ had 13 points, seven rebounds and five assists before fouling out. Brevi Pritzl finished with 12 points.
The Badgers, now 7-1, will host Rutgers on Monday.
The Wisconsin womens volleyball team advanced to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen with a victory over Pepperdine 25-16, 25-12, 15-25, 25-13 on Friday night at the UW Fieldhouse.
Senior Tionna Williams led all players with 14 kills. Grace Loberg and Molly Haggerty each had 12.
The Badgers will play next Friday.
The Wisconsin mens hockey team skated to a 3-3 tie with Penn State Friday night at the Kohl Center.
Freshman Brock Caulfield, a SPASH grad, had two goals. Max Zimmer had the other goal and freshman goaltender Daniel Lebedeff finished with 37 saves.
Wisconsin , now 5-7-3, will play Penn State again tonight at 7pm…you can hear the game on WSAU.
The Wisconsin womens hockey team will host Syracuse Saturday and Sunday afternoon at LaBahn Arena.
