WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind (MetroSource-WSAU) The Wisconsin Badger mens basketball team was no match for the 3rd ranked Purdue Boilermakers as they lost 78-50 at Mackey Arena.
Purdue made its first four three-point attempts and jumped out to a 12-0 lead. They have won 14 straight overall and 19 in a row at home. Vincent Edwards had 21 and Carsen Edwards added 20.
Ethan Happ led Wisconsin with 15 points. The Badgers had a season high 20 turnovers in the game.
UW has lost three straight to dip to 9-and-10 on the season including 2-and-4 in Big Ten play. The Badgers host Illinois on Friday.
