MINNEAPOLIS, MN (WSAU-MetroSource) Aaron Jones had 154 yards on the ground and two rushing touchdowns, leading the Packers to a 23-10 win over the Vikings to clinch the NFC North title. If the season ended now, the Packers would have a first round bye and a home game in the division round of the playoffs. The Packers could still be the NFC’s top seed, if they beat Detroit next week and the 49ers lose to the Seahawks.
Green Bay committed three first-half turnovers, but the Packers’ defense held the Vikings to just seven first downs and 139 yards of total offense.
Kirk Cousins’ career record on Monday Night Football dropped to 0-9. He totaled only 122 yards with a touchdown and an interception while being sacked five times.
With the loss, the Vikings are locked into the number 6 seed in the NFC playoffs.
