MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The Wisconsin women’s soccer team remained unbeaten at home and in the Big Ten conference with a 2-1 win over Maryland on Thursday at McClimon Soccer Complex
With the win, the Badgers move into first place in the conference.
After falling behind 1-0 in the 10th minute, the Badgers responded with two second half tallies. Rylee Howard and Natalie Viggiano had the goals.
The Badgers host Minnesota on Sunday.
The Wisconsin womens hockey team hammered Lindenwood 6-0 on Thursday night at LaBahn Arena.
Lacey Eden, Maddi Wheeler & Sophie Shirley each scored two goals in the win.
The Badgers outshot the Lions 72-3 and didn’t allow a shot on goal in the final 41-42 of the game.
The Badgers, now 2-1, will take on Lindenwood again tonight.
The Wisconsin Volleyball team plays Penn State tonight at the Fieldhouse.
The Badger football team hosts Illinois on Saturday. Pre-game show at 9am on WSAU.
