MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Bucks had a busy first couple of days as the free agency period began in the NBA on Saturday.
The Bucks are saying goodbye to Malcolm Brogdon. He’s been dealt to the Pacers for a first-round pick and two second-rounders. The trade allows the Bucks to avoid paying the luxury tax this season.
Milwaukee did agree to new deals with Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez and George Hill as they kee p much of the core of this years success together.
Middleton gets a five year, $178 million deal with the final year being a player option. Lopez, who had an oustanding season, cashed in with a four year, $52 million deal. And Hill agreed to a three year $29 million deal.
Milwaukee also added Robin Lopez as a free agent. He is the twin brother of Brook Lopez and signs for two years.
None of the deals can become official until July 6th.
