PHILADELPHIA, PA (MetroSource-WSAU) — Game Three of the World Series was postponed due to inclement weather.
It will now be played tonight in Philadelphia with the series tied up at one game apiece. Game Four will be Wednesday and Game Five is scheduled for Thursday.
If necessary, Games Six and Seven will be played in Houston on Saturday and Sunday.
The off-day, now Friday, will remain. It’s the first World Series game to be postponed since Game Six in 2011 between the St. Louis Cardinals and Texas Rangers.
