A friend shared this Neil Young song today from his 2005 LP Prairie Wind. The album looked at a life getting older and pondering his mortality after the death of his father. I share this song for all the zealots out there who may read these words. You know the ones. Where spirituality, faith and truth have only one answer. And if you don't agree with that answer you are less than worthy of redemption. I consider myself an agnostic. I've said before that sometimes I wish I could have the faith of a true believer. But as Jackson Browne once wrote in his great song “For A Dancer”, an ode to a friend who passed away, ” I don't know what happens when people die. Can't seem to grasp it as hard as I try. It's like a song I can hear playing right in my ear, But I can't sing, I can't help listening.” That seems to sum it up pretty well for me. And Neil does too. If there is a higher power watching down on us, I can't help but think it wouldn't be pleased right now. We have had plenty of time to right our egregious wrongs against one another but it seems we just can't do it. And once again religion, faith and spirituality are being used as weapons by unscrupulous people to continue their power over us. That type of thing is as old as religion itself, but you think more people would have recognized it for what it is by now. And so it goes. Ask yourself this honestly…when your race is run, will the world have been a better place having you in it? And if you can't answer yes, there is always time to fix that.

“As a writer & reader, I generally wish for best for all books. But I hope John Bolton's book doesn't sell a copy. He knows Trump shouldn't be president, was in position to share his knowledge & refused to do so to sell more books. If that's not evil it will do until real shows up”-Stuart Stevens
