MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU-MetroSource) The Bucks exacted revenge against the Wizards with the help of their star player in a 123-113 victory in Milwaukee.
Giannis Antetokounmpo exploded for a career-high 55 points and hauled in 10 rebounds for a double-double. The All-Star was out with knee soreness during last weekend’s loss to Washington. The 55 points ties for second most in franchise history. Michael Redd holds the record with 57.
Brook Lopez logged a double-double of his own on 21 points and 12 rebounds while Bobby Portis joined the club with 17 points and 13 rebounds off the bench. The Bucks improved to 24-and-13 on the season and sit third in the Eastern Conference.
Kristaps Porzingis netted 22 points for the Wizards, who saw their five-game win streak come to an end.
