PINE LAKE, WI (WSAU) — Four people are accused of holding a woman captive at a home in Pine Lake.
The Oneida County Sheriff’s Department says they began their investigation on December 22nd after the woman was dropped off at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rhinelander.
The woman claimed that she was held against her will, tied to a chair, and beaten with a belt. One of the four people arrested is charged with sexually assaulting the victim.
The people in custody are Jay William Lloyd, charged with robbery, battery, and false imprisonment; Laura Lynn Schultz, charged with false imprisonment; Andrew Paul Horbinski, charged with robbery and false imprisonment; and Darren Marcus Hewison, charged with robbery, substantial battery, false imprisonment, and second-degree sexual assault.
All of the suspects are also facing drug possession charges. The suspects made initial court appearances in Oneida County this week, with bonds set between $15,000 and $20,000.
The sheriff’s department says Rhinelander PD assisted in the investigation.
