Miles Bradley
STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — A new judge has been assigned to oversee the case against Miles Bradley.
The 78-year-old from Amherst is accused of killing Clarence Banks in mid-December after an argument that occurred in a home that Banks shared with some other people. During the argument, Bradley is said to have armed himself with a handgun and made a verbal threat toward the 92-year-old Banks before pulling the trigger.
The case had originally been assigned to Judge Louis Molepske. Court records show Patricia Baker is now in charge of the proceedings.
Bradley faces one count of first-degree intentional homicide, which carries an automatic life sentence if he’s found guilty. He’s being held on a $1 million bond and will return to court on February 6th for arraignment.
