WESTON, WI (WSAU) — The Everest Metro Police Department has named a new School Resource Officer for the D.C. Everest Senior High.
Officer Josh English has been assigned the role. He takes over for Officer Frank Wierzbanowski, who retired amid a review regarding department policies.
That investigation was not completed due to Officer Frank’s retirement. He had been placed on leave from the position in late November and announced his retirement two weeks later.

Details regarding the investigation have not been disclosed.
Officer English’s first day on the job at the school was January 2nd. According to a press release from EMPD, he joined their ranks in June of 2021 after a long career with the Air Force. He does have two children enrolled in the D.C. Everest School district.
