Dale Garvin, 67, Tomah, died Friday, January 6, 2017 at Gunderson Hospital, LaCrosse.
He was born on March 12, 1949 in Wisconsin Rapids, the son of the late Roy Garvin, Sr. and Correne (Longtail) Soldier.
Dale enjoyed life, liked to travel, enjoyed singing on the big drum, enjoyed reading, fishing and of course the casino. He really loved his naughty girl cat he named August.
He was currently living in Tomah. He also lived in Duluth, MN as well as Colorado Springs, CO where he has a daughter, Colleen McNamee and some grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Other survivors include his siblings, Roy Garvin, Jr., Loa Porter, Nina Garvin, Melanie Bryant, David Wick, Corwin (Melanie Jo) Roth and Christian (Lori) Roth. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Dale is preceded in death by sisters, Susan, Kim and Darlene and brother, Phillip.
