WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) – Jennifer Dorow, a Supreme Court candidate, held a press conference today at the Marathon County Courthouse.
Dorow is currently on a tour of the state talking to voters about what she brings to the table as a candidate, saying, “I have a proven track record of fairly and faithfully applying the laws as written to the nearly 16,000 cases that have been assigned to me across civil, family, and criminal cases.”
She also mentioned the outpouring of support she has received from law enforcement officers across the state. Sheriffs Chad Billeb of Marathon County, Brian Schmitt of Price County, and former Attorney General candidate Eric Toney were on hand to support Dorow.
Dorow also responded to claims that she’s handed out lenient sentences in the past, saying, “What I ask voters to do is not take my word for it but look at my record and look at how I handled the Waukesha Christmas parade attack trial and my commitment to fairness, order, and justice.”
Election day is next Tuesday, February 21, and Dorow will be on the ballot alongside Dan Kelly, a former justice of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, Circuit Judge Everett Mitchell of Dane County, and Circuit Judge Janet Protasiewicz of Milwaukee County.
