WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) – Due to the upcoming winter weather, two Delta flights to Minneapolis and one flight from CWA to Minneapolis have been canceled.
The impacted flights were scheduled to arrive at CWA today at 2:28 PM and 9:02 PM. The 3:13 PM flight to Minneapolis has also been canceled.
Wausau is expected to receive two to six inches of snow over the next 24 hours, and Minnesota could see record snowfall totals by the end of the week.
This afternoon may see the arrival of the first wave of the long-lasting storm system in Minnesota. Blizzard warnings will be in effect for several counties on Wednesday and Thursday, particularly in western Minnesota.
Anyone flying this week should check with their airline to ensure that their flight will arrive and depart on time.
