WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – According to information obtained by News 9, documents containing anti-Semitic materials were dropped off early Monday morning in a Wausau neighborhood east of downtown.
The crime is thought to be isolated, according to a Wausau Police official, and only an isolated part of that area received pamphlets.
The Marshfield Police Department looked into a case identical to this one last June, when anti-Semitic flyers were discovered within a five-block radius of a local neighborhood.
This serves as a good reminder, Wausau police told News 9, to secure your doors at night and to never hesitate to call the department’s non-emergency number if you have any issues or would need something looked into.
