MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The season is not over for the Wisconsin men’s basketball team as they have been handed a #2 seed in the National Invitation Tournament.
The Badgers have drawn Bradley University from Peoria, IL in the first round. The Braves completed the regular season with a record of 25-9. and qualified for the NIT after winning the Missouri Valley Conference regular-season title.
Despite having a better record and winning that regular-season title, the game will be played at the Kohl Center. The tip-off is set for 8:30 PM on Tuesday, with pregame coverage on WSAU beginning at 7:30.
The winner of Tuesday’s game will play either Liberty University or Villanova in the round of 16 on either March 18th or 19th.
