GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – As a trade with the New York Jets keeps becoming more likely by the day, new reports point to what the Packers’ star quarterback may want out of New York before agreeing to a trade.
Rodgers’ wish list of potential teammates includes former Packers Randall Cobb, Allen Lazard, and Marcedes Lewis, as well as receiver Odell Beckham Jr., whom Rodgers attempted to recruit to Green Bay in 2021, according to ESPN’s Dianna Russini. With that in mind, the Jets’ interest in Lewis is appears conditional on Rodgers becoming their quarterback.
Aaron Rodgers has provided the NY Jets with a wish-list of free agents he would like them to target and acquire, per sources.

According to Jordan Schultz of The Score, wide receiver Allen Lazard has signed a four-year, $44 million deal with the New York Jets, ending his five-year stint with the Green Bay Packers. Randell Cobb, a long-time Packer, is also “expected to be on the Jets’ radar in the coming days.”
Over 15 games in 2022, Lazard led the Packers with 60 receptions, 788 receiving yards, and six receiving touchdowns. Cobb started three games and had 34 receptions for 417 yards and a touchdown.
Marcedes Lewis, a former Packers tight end and current free agent, is reportedly attracting interest from both New York and the Las Vegas Raiders, according to Schefter.
Lewis has only caught 54 passes for 543 yards and six touchdowns in his time in Green Bay, peaking with 23 receptions and 214 yards in 2021. Lewis caught six balls for 66 yards and two touchdowns last year.
As of now, the official word on Rodgers’ situation is that he will eventually be traded to New York, but nothing has been finalized. Rodgers and the Jets have talked in the last day, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, and Rodgers’ compensation remains the biggest holdup in the trade.
