Jeremy Jimmerson
WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A Marathon County judge has issued an arrest warrant for a Weston man accused of cutting the brake lines on his ex-girlfriend’s vehicle.
Jeremy Jimmerson is accused of felony counts of stalking, recklessly endangering safety, and criminal damage to a vehicle
Investigators say Jimmerson and the woman were arguing over possession of the vehicle, among other things. The 40-year-old is said to have sent her text messages which implied that some sort of danger would be coming her way.
Jimmerson has denied cutting the brake lines, though video surveillance footage shows him committing the act in a Rib Mountain parking lot.
A mechanic said the damage to the vehicle showed a clean cut to the lines and not something that would have happened due to corrosion or other natural causes.
Jimmerson, also known as Jimmy X or Jeremy Nelson in some circles, also has open felony cases for fleeing or eluding an officer and being a felon in possession of a firearm. One of those cases is scheduled for a plea hearing in mid-May, and another will have a jury trial later in the month. He was released on a $1,000 signature bond in that case, and court records show he has yet to be taken into custody on the new charges.
