MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Brewer’s offense backed up a strong start from Brandon Woodruff as they scored a 4-0 win over St. Louis on Friday.
Willy Adames finished with two hits including a solo home run and two RBI. Garrett Mitchell added two hits.
Woodruff threw 5.1 innings and scattered four hits and four walks. Five relievers then teamed up to keep the Cardinals off the board for the remainder of the game.
St. Louis left eight runners on base for the game.
The same two teams will continue their Easter weekend series tonight, first pitch is at 6:10 with pregame coverage at 5:40 on WSAU.
