MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – Milwaukee Bucks star player Giannis Antetokounmpo did not practice Tuesday due to a back issue, but he could play in Game 2 against the Miami Heat on Wednesday.
“We have 24-plus hours before game time,” Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer told reporters after practice. “He’ll get treatment, we’ll see how he feels. There’s been a lot of progress and hopefully there’s more in the next day or so.”
However, Antetokounmpo has been listed as doubtful for Wednesday’s game by the team.
The Bucks have submitted their first injury report for tomorrow's Game 2 against the Heat.

In Game 1 of the series on Sunday, Heat forward Kevin Love undercut Antetokounmpo to draw a charge, causing him to fall hard and suffer the injury. As Milwaukee went on to lose 130-117 as Giannis was forced to leave the game and miss the entire second half.
The Bucks would undoubtedly miss Antetokounmpo’s production if he were to miss time. Milwaukee went 11-8 without him during the regular season, meaning Jrue Holiday, Khris Middleton, and Brook Lopez would have to carry the scoring load in Game 2 if he is truly out.
