CONLEY COMMENTARY (WSAU) – Somehow an 18-year-old trans student at Sun Prairie East High School thought his right to be who he believes he is supersedes the basic rights to privacy of his 14-and-15 year old female classmates.
He announced to the young girls “I’m trans” and stripped naked to take a shower in the school locker room, with his male appendage out, in front of them.
The school district says the media version of what happened is “ill-informed, inaccurate, and incomplete”, and they can’t provide more information because of an ongoing investigation.
There is a little nugget to this story that’s received no attention, and it illustrates that newly-invented ‘trans rights’ go to the front ahead of everyone else’s rights. The girls didn’t report the incident right away. And why would they? Every message they’ve received for years in school is that a boy who thinks he’s a girl, or vice-versa, can’t possibly be in the wrong. Did these girls wonder what would happen if they told their story to the wrong woke teacher? Might they be in trouble for complaining about their trans-classmate’s behavior. No doubt they’ve been lectured in class about trans-rights and how anyone who is confused about their gender or sexuality is never to be questioned.
I know what the end game is here. Schools around the country, under the guise of Title IX, will be instructed to convert their bathrooms and locker rooms to European style. In Europe locker rooms have ceiling to floor stalls. Europeans do not shower in front of each other; men do not use public urinals. They have different social norms about privacy. That’s coming to a school near you, and you’ll be told not to mind if the person in the stall next to you is a man pretending to be a woman.
