MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers made some changes to their bullpen on Monday after struggling on Sunday.
Matt Bush was placed on the 15-day injured list with right rotator cuff tendinitis and Javy Guerra was designated for assignment. Both were part of a nine run inning on Sunday vs the Red Sox.
Bush is expected to be out 2-4 weeks.
The Brewers promoted Jake Cousins and Alex Claudio from AAA Nashville to fill the spots. Claudio, who returned to the Brewers after spending last season with the Mets, brings a second left-hander to the pen.
