DENVER, CO (WSAU-MetroSource) – The Brewers dropped another game to the Rockies following a 7-1 defeat in Denver.
Eric Lauer got the loss after surrendering four runs, none of them earned, over four-plus innings. Hoby Milner struggled in relief and gave up two runs while recording just one out.
Tyrone Taylor drove in the lone run for Milwaukee, which dropped to 18-and-12. The Brew Crew are still second in the NL Central.
The team will try to salvage the series this afternoon. Wade Miley gets the start opposite Connor Seabold. Game coverage begins at 1:30pm CT on WSAU.
