(WTAQ-WRN) — Plenty of Wisconsinites will be traveling this Memorial Day weekend.
Triple-A projects that number to be over 800,000 people in the state, which climbs closer to the number of those traveling for the holiday prior to the pandemic.
That estimate is a 6.7% increase than last year, and just 3% below than the all-time high for travelers set in 2019.
Triple-A also estimates over 42 million Americans will travel at least 50 miles away from home during the Memorial Day weekend.
