MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – Scott Brooks, an assistant coach with the Portland Trail Blazers, “left a strong impression” on Milwaukee Bucks executives, according to Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports.
In his twelve years as an NBA head coach, Brooks has compiled a 521-414 record while serving as the Oklahoma City Thunder and Washington Wizards’ head coach.
According to Joe Vardon of The Athletic, an NBA executive named former Sixers head coach Doc Rivers as a “sleeper candidate” for the Milwaukee Bucks. The team has not scheduled an interview with Rivers yet but many believe that could happen in the coming weeks.
Current assistant Charles Lee, Kevin Young, Adrian Griffin, James Borrego, Kenny Atkinson, Mark Jackson, and Kelvin Sampson are among the Bucks’ several candidates.
